Monica Kershner was referred to us from a friend and put us to work on her daughter's, Kacie, senior high school photos. We were aiming for rustic + artistic so we agreed on the Zoar Bridge in the historic Zoar, Ohio. Kacie showed up ready to go. Typically, when we meet + start shooting someone, we all (photographers & subject) need a few minutes to find a groove, but not Kacie. She was prepped, set and ready to rock right out of the gate. Laura & Josh Strader
Earlier in the year, we were asked by family friend and swim-mate Dara Strader to shoot the nuptials of her son and fiance, Josh and Laura on September 29, 2012. Amber knew Josh, but hand't yet the pleasure of making Laura's acquaintance, I knew neither so we knocked out 2 birds with one stone when we arrived with cameras in hand. After it was all said and done and we were driving home, we agreed that the day spent with the bride, groom and their bridal parties felt very similar to hanging out ... View Post
Mitch Betz Senior Session & More
Cousin Tiff has attempted arranging her son Mitch's senior high school pics for some time now. We finally found some time a couple of weeks ago to join him, his sister Paige, the aforementioned Tiff, her father Dave and Dave's car. We started out at Sandy Valley High School Stadium. Mitch plays wide receiver for the Cardinals, while this visit to the stadium involved far less adrenaline, we were able to find some magic and have evidence below to prove it. Once we wrapped up at the school, we ... View Post
Ragon Family Fall Session
We spent Friday evening with our very good friends, the Ragon family. Becky has been aching to do a fall session and Friday turned out to be a perfect night at Warther's Museum in Dover, Ohio. We were able to capture Emmy's many expressions and some very memorable family moments between the four (soon to be five) of them. Becky and I even managed to get our 32 week bump picture into the mix. What a beautiful growing family. [hc_gallery columns="3" ... View Post
Reva & Adam Hurless
It's always an adventure meeting a couple and shooting one of the most important days of their lives' an hour or so post-introduction. We'd be a lying if we claimed that we didn't feel a little pressure in these situations. But when the bride, groom and their respective friends and families are as generous and fun to be around as the Norman and Hurless clans, what starts out as nervous anticipation quickly transforms into relaxed and endearing + exciting commitment to creativity. We arrived ... View Post
